Biography

Anna Stoyanova currently works as an adviser to the UN Special Envoy for the Great Lakes. She has previously worked as a political affairs officer in the Office of the DSRSG in the UN Assistance Mission in Afghanistan, in the Office of the Director of the UN Support Office for AMISOM, and for the UN Office for Peace-Building in Tadjikistan. She has also worked as a policy officer in NATO HQ in Brussels and for the OSCE Mission in Kosovo. Her experinces include supporting elections in Kosovo and Afghanistan. She has previously worked as a journalist in Bulgaria.

She holds a Master's Degree in International Affairs from Columbia University and a Master's Degree in journalism and communication.
