Saskia Marsh
Biography
Saskia specialises in conflict transformation and socio-political risk management in fragile states - for companies, governments and international institutions. She is an Associate Director of Strategia Worldwide, which advises companies on how to navigate complex environments, and an advisor to the European Institute of Peace. Most recently, Saskia advised several companies working in the natural resource sector on their government and community engagement strategies in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Mauritania. Before that, she worked for the UN in Gaza where she led an anti-radicalisation programme, redesigned public services for 300,000 refugees in Lebanon, and carried out negotiations with the Israeli military during the 2009 Gaza conflict. She began her career in Kosovo, where she ran a country-wide education programme for the OSCE. Saskia holds a BSc in International Relations from the London School of Economics and an MBA from IMD Business School.
